1924 márciusában alakult meg Kolozsváron az Erdélyi Szépmíves Céh Könyvkiadó Betéti Társaság. Az elmúlt évtizedekben cikkek, tanulmányok és könyvek mutatták be a Céh történetét és működését. Szóltak könyvsorozatáról és egyéb kiadványairól. Kevesebb szót ejtettek viszont előfizetőiről és pártolótagjairól. Jelen tanulmány azokat az intézményeket kívánja bemutatni, amelyek pártolótagként – hosszabb-rövidebb ideig – hozzájárultak a kiadó kétévtizedes folyamatos működéséhez, valamint könyvsorozata olcsó kiadásának eljuttatásához a „szegényebb sorsú, de olvasmányaiban époly [sic!] igényes olvasó kezébe”. | At the end of March 1924, six Cluj-Napoca journalists founded the publishing house Transylvanian Belletristic Guild. They set themselves the goal of publishing the new literary works of post-Trianon Transylvanian Hungarian writers and poets, arranged in series. After presenting the characteristics of amateur books, this paper takes stock of and publishes Transylvanian (Romanian) and foreign, mostly Hungarian participating institutions. A cheap edition of the book series was also made for subscribers. The list of subscribers in Hungary is enumerated in a separate, the so-called Golden Book. Some of the institutions included in it can also be found among the supporting members. By comparing the institutional customers of the two editions of the book series and supplementing them with private individuals connected to the institutions, we can get an interesting and valuable picture of the organisational customers of the books of the Transylvanian Belletristic Guild.
