The Europalanta Association together with the Hungarian Environmental Education Association launched the pre-school environmental education program called „Puppets for future – Greening your home!” aiming to educate the next generation in early childhood. This age group is particularly open and sensitive to incorporate the fundamental sustainability and environmental values. In this paper, the authors overview the methods they apply for indoor and outdoor elements. They suppose that the pre-training is important for the teachers, since they apply the methods with consciousness. It also assumed that the “Puppets for future” is a relevant tool for environmental education, for what we found evidences during our review.
