The two most important elements of protestant worship are the
Word teaching and the liturgic lord’s supper. Placing the
furniture, that serves these elements, substantially affects
the shape, the forming and the arrangement of church. The
searching focuses on the period between the two World Wars,
which is rich in records and has not discovered yet. We choose
the diocesan district of Tiszáninnen and Tiszántúl being
intellectually and physically near by Debrecen which is
considered the Hungarian center of calvinism. According to our
hypothesis, by analysing the buildings belonging to the
mentioned period and area, a space forming typology can made
with discovering the correspondence which shows the changing of
idea of calvinist church space.
