A tanulmány a Budapesti Fegyház és Börtön – a szakmai és köznyelvben „Gyűjtőként” ismert intézet – fennállásának 130. évfordulója alkalmából nyújt rendszerszintű és átfogó elemzést az intézet történelmi ívéről, funkcionális átalakulásáról. Az 1896-ban megnyitott, Wagner Gyula által tervezett komplexum bemutatásán keresztül a szerző rávilágít annak agglomerációs központként betöltött vezető, koordináló és logisztikai szerepére, amely új és hatékonyabb erőforrás-gazdálkodást hozott a büntetés-végrehajtásban. A tanulmány részletesen tárgyalja a személyi állomány hivatástudatának, kríziskezelési képességének és pszichés állóképességének fontosságát a zárt intézeti térben, valamint az innovációs jövőképet is felvázolja. | The study, on the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the Budapest Strict and Medium Regime Prison – the institute known professionally and colloquially as the ‘Gyűjtő’ – provides a systemic and comprehensive analysis of the institution’s historical arc and functional transformation. Through the presentation of the prison complex, designed by Gyula Wagner and opened in 1896, the author highlights its leading, coordinating and logistical role as a regional center, which brought about new and more efficient resource management in the prison service. The study discusses in detail the importance of the professionalism, crisis management skills, and psychological resilience of the staff in the closed institutional space, and also outlines the innovation vision.
