Az MTA Könyvtár és Információs Központban működő EISZ Titkárság 2014-ben tette elérhetővé a Compass elnevezésű lelőhely-adatbázis első változatát, amelynek segítségével a felhasználók a hazai intézményekben elektronikus formában elérhető tudományos tartalmak lelőhelyével kapcsolatban tájékozódhattak. A rendszer első továbbfejlesztése 2017-ben zajlott le. Ekkor új arculatot kapott a keresőfelület, illetve lehetővé vált a cikk- és folyóiratszintű keresés is. 2020-ban került sor a Compass továbbfejlesztésére. A külön platformként kialakított Compass+ felületen a kollekciómenedzsment mellett lehetőség nyílik az adatbázisokkal kapcsolatos több szempontú kimutatások összeállítására és lekérdezésére is. | The EIS Secretariat, operating within the Library and Information Centre of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, launched the first version of the Compass holdings database in 2014. This platform enabled users to identify which scientific resources were available electronically at Hungarian institutions. The system’s first major upgrade took place in 2017, introducing a redesigned search interface and adding article- and journal-level search capabilities. The next development phase followed in 2020 with the creation of Compass+, a standalone platform that supports collection management and allows users to compile and query complex, multi-criteria reports related to the databases
