This paper deals with the modelling approach and simulation of conducted emission in brushless permanent magnet DC drives with various control techniques. The model incorporates CISPR 25-based conducted emission measurement setup, discrete component behaviour, high-frequency motor models, and PCB parasitics. Hysteresis current control, sinusoidal and space vector pulse width modulation techniques are used to control the switching elements and compared based on their conducted emission performance.
