A Workshop on Energy and Environment (EE) rendezvénysorozat több évtizedes múltra tekint vissza: 1995 óta évente kerül megrendezésre a gödöllői egyetem – ma Magyar Agrár- és Élettudományi Egyetem – szervezésében. A konferencia a kezdetektől fogva az energia és környezet témaköréhez kapcsolódó kutatások egyik fontos hazai fóruma, amelyen részt vesznek hazai és nemzetközi kutatóintézetek képviselői a megújuló energiaforrások területéről. A rendezvényhez kapcsolódó angol nyelvű kivonatkötet írásai a szervezők felhívására beérkezett, hosszabb absztraktok, amelyek a konferencia szakmai programját is megalapozzák. A kötet így a workshop dokumentációjaként szolgál, és egyben betekintést nyújt a szakterület legfrissebb tudományos eredményeibe is. The Seminar/Workshop on Energy and Environment (EE) has been successfully organized annually since 1995 under the auspices of the relevant departments of Szent István University in Gödöllő, Hungary—currently the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Over the years, the event has been hosted by the Department of Physics and Process Control, later by the Department of Physics within the Institute of Mathematics and Basic Science, as well as the Department of Mechatronics at the Institute of Technology. The workshop traditionally involves active participation from both domestic and international institutions engaged in exploring the application possibilities of renewable energy resources. The primary aim of the workshop is to provide a platform for presenting new research results, technological developments, and practical applications related to issues of energy and the environment. The organizers invite interested researchers and professionals to participate and to submit two-page abstracts of potential contributions relevant to the workshop topics.
