This paper presents an approach to applying artificial intelligence methods for the automated analysis of academic curricula and the identification of potential interdisciplinary modules. The input data consists of Excel exports which contains lists of the courses, credits, semesters, and prerequisites without syllabi. During preprocessing, the course titles were normalized and near-duplicates were merged using fuzzy matching (RapidFuzz).
