A ChatGPT felhasználása a MARC21 fordítására

A MARC21 adatcsere-formátum egységes nemzetközi használta befejezett tény. A különféle formátumai és dokumentumai a könyvtári és más, társadalom- és természettudomány, valamint a művészet szöveges (leíró) forrásait biztosító tartalomszolgáltatás területén gyakorlatilag minden olyan adatot tartalmaznak, melyek rögzíthetők. Mégpedig a (bibliográfiai) szabványok teljességét meghaladó módon. Öt nemzeti változata és 20 nyelvű pontos, és tejes vagy különféle mértékben tömörített fordítása létezik. Ez azt jelzi, hogy minden felhasználói körben fontosnak tartják a MARC21 angol nevű adattípusainak nemzeti nyelvű, szakszerű megnevezését és meghatározását, más szóval a korszerű szaknyelv ápolását a nemzetközi nyelvhasználattal összhangban. Ez a nemzeti szakmai kultúra számára kiemelkedően fontos. Az eddig MARC21 fordítások és a Chat GPT felhasználásával viszonylag gyorsam gazdaságosan lehetne olyan kiinduló magyar fordításhoz jutni, mely lektorálással véglegesíthető. Using ChatGPT for MARC21 translationThe unified international use of the MARC21 data exchange format is an accomplished fact. Its various formats and documents encompass practically all data relevant to content services in the fields of library science, social and natural sciences, and the arts, particularly in providing textual (descriptive) sources. Moreover, this is done in a manner that surpasses the comprehensiveness of (bibliographic) standards. There are five national variations of MARC21, along with accurate and complete or partially condensed translations in 20 languages. This indicates that within every user community, the proper national-language designation and definition of MARC21’s English-named data types are considered important—in other words, maintaining a modern professional vocabulary in harmony with international language usage. This is of outstanding importance for national professional culture. By using previous translations from Chat GPT, one can relatively quickly and economically create such a Hungarian source version, which can then be finalized by proofreading. https://doi.org/10.31915/NWS.2025.24
