A technológiai fejlődés alapjaiban változtatta meg a plágiumról való gondolkodást a felsőoktatásban. Jelen tanulmány a plágium fogalmának történeti átalakulását vizsgálja az infokommunikációs korszakok tükrében, különös figyelemmel arra, miként változotta szerzőség és az eredetiség értelmezése az egyes időszakokban. A hazai felsőoktatási intézmények szabályozása ezen a téren széttagolt képet mutat, ami fokozza a plágium értelmezésével és kezelésével kapcsolatos bizonytalanságokat. A tanulmány célja kettős: egyrészt feltárni a plágium fogalmának alakulását a digitális és mesterséges intelligenciával átszőtt tudáskörnyezetben, másrészt összehasonlító módon elemezni öt hazai egyetem plágiumszabályzatát.Kulcsszavak: felsőoktatás, mesterséges intelligencia, akadémiai integritás, plágium,szabályzatok The Digital Transformation of PlagiarismTechnological advancement has fundamentally transformed the discourse surrounding plagiarism in higher education. This study examines the historical evolution of the concept of plagiarism through the lens of successive infocommunication eras, with particular emphasis on how notions of authorship and originality have shifted across different periods. In the Hungarian context, institutional regulations on plagiarism remain highly fragmented, contributing to interpretive and procedural ambiguities in its handling. The aim of this paper is twofold: first, to explore the conceptual transformation of plagiarism within a digitally and AI-mediated knowledge environment; second, to conduct a comparative analysis of the plagiarism policies adopted by five Hungarian universities.Keywords: higher education, artificial intelligence, acedemic integrity, plagiarism, institutional policies https://doi.org/10.31915/NWS.2025.17
