Az ókori Egyiptom legősibb istennői közé tartozó Nut elsősorban az égbolt megtestesítője volt. Su levegőisten és Tefnut páraistennő lánya, Geb földisten testvére és hitvese volt, gyermekei Ízisz, Ozirisz, Széth és Nebethet. A képeslapon látható falfestményen Nut alakja az óegyiptomi életkép fölé borul, testét csillagok díszítik. A Királyok völgye Egyiptom középső részén, a Nílus nyugati partján helyezkedik el, Théba (ma Luxor) városával átellenben. A Királyok völgye az i. e. 16–11. század között uralkodók (fáraók) és nagy hatalmú nemesek temetési helye volt. VI. Ramszesz i. e. 1145 és i. e. 1137 között volt egyiptomi fáraó. | Nut, one of the most ancient goddesses of ancient Egypt, was primarily the embodiment of the heavens. The daughter of the air god Su and the goddess Tefnut, she was the brother and consort of the earth god Geb, and her children were Isis, Osiris, Seth, and Nebeth. In the mural on the postcard, the figure of Nut is superimposed on the ancient Egyptian life scene, her body adorned with stars. The Valley of the Kings is located in central Egypt, on the west bank of the Nile, opposite the city of Thebes (now Luxor). The Valley of the Kings was the burial place of rulers (pharaohs) and powerful nobles between the 16th and 11th centuries BC. Ramses VI was Pharaoh of Egypt from 1145 BC to 1137 BC.
