Tartalmi leírás:
A disszertációban a matematika és a sakk közötti kapcsolatot vizsgáljuk. A témát két aspektusból közelítjük meg. Egyrészt a matematikai gondolkodás specifikumainak megjelenését keressük a sakkozói gondolkodásban, másrészt a sakkoktatás szerepét vizsgáljuk a matematikatanításban. A dolgozatban szereplő eredmények két csoportra bonthatók. Bemutatjuk, hogy a sakkoktatás fontos szerepet játszhat a matematika tanításában, valamint megvizsgáljuk, hogy a sakkoktatásnak milyen pozitív hatásai lehetnek a matematikai teljesítményre általános iskolában. A matematika felvételi vizsgára való felkészülés egyes fázisainak alapján megfigyeléseket végeztünk a sakkoktatás hatásaira a metakognitív fejlesztés hatékonyságára. Egy sakkozói csoportra vonatkozó pedagógiai kísérlet eredményeit mutatjuk be összehasonlító mérésekkel (országos eredményekkel és egy nem sakkozói csoport eredményével), illetve a csoporton belüli fejlesztő oktatási kísérlet hatásainak kimutatásával.
In the dissertation we study the relation between mathematics and chess. We approach the topic from two aspects. On the one hand, we look for the appearance of specific features of mathematical thinking in the thinking of the chess player, and on the other hand, we investigate the role of chess education in the teaching of mathematics. The results in the dissertation can be divided into two parts. We show that chess education can be important in the teaching of mathematics, and we also study the possible positive effects of chess education on the mathematical performance in primary school. According to the phases of preparation for the entrance exam, we study the effects of chess education onto the effectiveness of metacognitive development. We give the results of a pedagogical experiment with a group of chess players based upon comparative measurements (with respect to national results and results of a group of non-chess players), and also present the results of a developing teaching experiment inside the group of chess players.
