A Budapesti Műszaki és Gazdaságtudományi Egyetem Országos Műszaki Információs Központés Könyvtár (BME OMIKK) régóta céljának tekinti, hogy a hallgatók, az oktatók és azérdeklődők számára elérhetővé tegye állományát elektronikus formában is. A digitalizálótevékenység már évek óta zajlik, és a dokumentumok nyilvánosságra hozatala is folyamatos,többnyire a Műegyetem Digitális Archívumában (MDA, repozitórium) kerülnek publikálásraa digitalizált anyagok.A 2023-as év jelentős változásokat hozott, mert a már meglévő digitalizáló gépek mellé több új, speciális digitalizáló eszköz érkezett, melyekkel a régi és az újabb dokumentumok is könnyebben feldolgozhatók lettek. Célunk, hogy a feldolgozás zökkenőmentesen folyjon, miközben maximálisan figyelünk a dokumentumok sajátosságaira. A digitalizáló kollégák szoros együttműködésben dolgoznak az intézmény szervezeti egységeivel, a feladatok az egységek között megoszlanak és ennek az együttműködésnek köszönhetően zárulnak sikeresen a projektek.Jövőbeli céljaink között szerepel, hogy kiterjesszük a lehetőségeket a feldolgozások tekintetében, új eszközökkel gazdagodjon az intézmény, és minél átfogóbb szolgáltatást nyújthassunka digitalizáció színterén intézményi belső és külső igényeknek is megfelelve.Kulcsszavak: digitalizáció, digitalizáló eszközök, könyvtári állományvédelem From Kodak to the future – scenes of a library digitizationThe goal of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics National Technical Information Centre and Library (BME OMIKK) has long been to make its significant collection available in electronic format for students, teachers and visitors. The digitization activity has been going on for years and the publication of the documents is continuous. The digitized materials are mostly published in the Digital Archive (MDA, repository) ofthe University.The year 2023 has brought great changes as besides the already existing digitizing machines, several new and special digitizing devices have arrived. With their help, old and newer documents became easier to process.Our goal is the continuous and smooth processing while paying maximum attention to the specifics of the documents. The digitizing colleagues work in close interaction with the organizational units of the institution, so the tasks are divided among the units and thanks to this cooperation the set projects will be successfully completed.Our future goals include expanding the processing options, enriching the institution with new devices, and providing the most comprehensive service in the scenes of digitization according to institutional internal and external needs.Keywords: digitization, digitizing devices, library file protection https://doi.org/10.31915/NWS.2024.7
