A Kibernetikai kompetenciák a 21. században című doktori értekezés megírásának célja a református egyházkormányzás gyökereinek a felmutatása és a jelen gyakorlat interdiszciplináris vizsgálata mellett az, hogy választ adjon a református egyházvezetés elmélete és gyakorlata között megmutatkozó diszkrepanciára, valamint olyan szervezés- és vezetéselméleti lehetőségek rendszeres teológiai vizsgálata, amelyek a református kibernetika számára is relevanciával bírnak. A gyakran tényként kezelt állítás, miszerint a református egyházkormányzat a kálvini hagyományok alapján a paritás elvén szerveződik, magát zsinat-presbiteri elvek szerint kormányozza igaz, mégsem fedi teljes mértékben a valóságot. A magyar református egyház csupán lokálisan presbiteri rendszerű, elvileg idegen attól az episzkopális berendezkedés, a gyakorlat azonban mást mutat. A piramis-szerű, hierarchikus felépítésű egyházszervezet nem biblikus és nem a reformátori elgondolást tükrözi. Ez a felismerés motiválta a kutatást./ The doctoral thesis titled „Cybernetic Competencies in the 21st Century” aims to explore the roots of Reformed Church governance and examine current practice in an interdisciplinary way; respond to the discrepancy between the theory and practice of Reformed Church leadership; and present a systematic theological exploration of organizational and management theories that are relevant to Reformed cybernetics. The Reformed Church government is organised on the basis of the Calvinist tradition of parity, governing itself according to synod-presbyterian principles. While this appears to be true, it is nevertheless not reality. The Hungarian Reformed Church is only locally Presbyterian: in principle it is alien to the Episcopalian system, but being differentin practice. The pyramidal, hierarchical church organization is not biblical and does not reflect the reformed conception. This realization was the primary motivation of the presented research.
