A fenntarthatóság napjaink kiemelt témái közé tartozik. A tanulmány célja, hogy a fogalmi meghatározáson túl bemutassa a fenntarthatóság dimenzióit (környezet–gazdaság–társadalom), az ENSZ által megalkotott Fenntartható Fejlődési Keretrendszert (Agenda 2030), valamint olyan európai uniós kezdeményezéseket, mint a European Green Deal vagy az ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance). A tanulmány második részében fenntarthatóságfókuszú felsőoktatási rangsorokat (GreenMetric World University Ranking, QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2023, Times Higher Education Impact Rankings) mutatok be és értékelek. Mindennek célja, hogy egyrészt e friss területen számba vegyük a meghatározó rangsorokat, másrészt hogy képet kapjunk a hazai felsőoktatási intézmények rangsorban betöltött helyéről és az intézményi erőfeszítésekről. A tanulmány röviden tárgyalja a fenntarthatóság globális kihívásai mesterképzés és az EU-s zöldköltségvetés-tervezés képzés fontosabb tudnivalóit.
Sustainability is one of today’s prominent topics. The purpose of the study is to present the dimensions of sustainability (environment, economy, and society) in addition to the conceptual definition, the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Framework (Agenda 2030), as well as European Union initiatives such as the European Green Deal or ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance). In the second part of the study, sustainability- focused higher education rankings (GreenMetric World University Ranking, QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2023, Times Higher Education Impact Rankings) are presented and evaluated. This is done with the aim of taking stock of these rankings in this emerging field and providing an overview of the position of Hungarian higher education institutions in these rankings and their efforts in this regard. The study briefly discusses the important aspects of the global challenges of sustainability Master’s degree and the EU green budget planning training.
