The research aims to determine the physical and behavioral parameters of soaring birds based on their trajectories. For all this, the data and calculation results come from a simulation environment that allows modelling both the birds and their environment. A method was found which determines the mass of birds, besides the ability to quantitatively characterize their unique behavior, too. These result serve as a proof of concept that such method could be applied on GPS recording of real birds.
