Even though men usually tend to continue to defend traditional masculine roles in most societies, international students may accept more egalitarian gender roles in the country where they are studying. Students` demographics such as nationality, after graduation plans, affiliations and identifications, contacts, past abroad experiences and networks may affect whether they adopt egalitarian gender roles or not.
