Vadai István (1960–2018) munkássága szorosan összefonódott a kéziratos és nyomtatottBalassi-szöveghagyomány bonyolult kérdéskörével. A régi szövegek filológiai-textológiaivizsgálata mellett azonban Vadai István a legkorszerűbb digitalizálási módszerek iránt isélénken érdeklődött. Az alábbiakban a régi magyar versek forráskiadásában meghatározószerepű Régi Magyar Költők Tára digitalizálásában betöltött kezdeményező szerepét és az efolyamattal összefüggő hagyatéki anyag sorsát ismertetjük, betekintést nyújtva a munkálatokjelenlegi állásába is.https://doi.org/10.31915/NWS.2022.25
