In many network science models, agents are represented by nodes of a graph who interact with one another. In case they are “connected”, that is, if there is an edge between the nodes representing them. The aim of the study is twofold: on the one hand to review the literature on characteristics of real-life social networks, and, on the other hand, to create a method by which artificial networks can be generated with features characterizing real-life social networks.
