Tartalmi leírás:
This study analyzes the relationship between the German host society and refugees after the beginning of the migration crisis in 2015. It examines the interrelatedness of education, perceived threats, in-group identification and the exposure toward refugees. The results reveal that education per se is not a guarantee for a more open-minded and less xenophobic society but that its value rather lies in its effect on other interconnected processes such as the limitation of perceived threats.
