In case of the geothermal site in Mezőberény (SE Hungary, installed in 2012), the system had even to be stopped because of the unsuccessful reinjection. This thesis aimed to investigate the reasons for low injectivity in detail for a better understanding of the problem in general and to work on the remediation. Based on the results, reservoir properties determine a low injectivity, which is further decreased to a critical level by the clogging processes.
