This study measures how structuralism works in two different media channels when they are dealing the North Korean Refugees. As YouTube representations are filmed and edited by North Korean Refugees themselves, it produces a less binary opposition view and focuses more on delivering their everyday life. These findings help us to understand how media act and may promote multiculturalism as a tool for informal education.
