The objective of this thesis is to investigate and analyse Islamophobic online media narratives in one Western and one non-Western country, Norway and India, and compare the narratives identified. The results point to many similarities between narratives in the two contexts. The current research cannot make broad claims about Islamophobia in Western and non-Western countries, but the findings do indicate that more comparative research would be an informative addition to the field.
