The different aspects and the appearances of the Latin American populism are analysed in the study that concentrates on the period between 1920 and 1955. The cases chosen in this article are Peron’s Argentina, Vargas’s Brasil, and Cárdenas’s México. The article analyses the historical circumstances of the populism, the populist parties, the regimes, the relationship between the populist regimes and the Church. Special attention is paid to the peronist third position ideology and the justicionalism.
