A tanulmány arra a kérdésre kíván választ adni, hogy az ezredfordulót megelőző évtizedekben hogyan változtak és középtávon (2015-ig) várhatóan hogyan fognak alakulni azok a tényezők, amelyek a legnagyobb hatást gyakorolják a világ és egyes földrajzi régiók, illetve országcsoportok élelmiszerkereskedelmére. Bemutatja világ agrár-külkereskedelmének alakulását és a magyar agrárexport lehetőségeit a külpiacot meghatározó, és a vizsgált tényezők (demográfia, urbanizáció, nemzetközi migráció, a GDP, a világkereskedelem, a mezőgazdaság termékkibocsátása, az élelmiszerfogyasztási tendenciák, a jövedelmek és árak, a külkereskedelem piaci és termékszerkezete) oldaláról. = The present paper aims to answer the question how the factors, which have the largest effect on the food trade of the world, certain regions and groups of countries, changed during the decades preceeding the millenium and in which way these factors might develop on mid-term (up to 2015). It describes the development of the agricultural world trade, presents the factors determining the opportunities and external markets of the Hungarian agricultural export and all the other factors analysed (demography, urbanisation, international migration, GDP, world trade, agricultural output, tendencies of food consumption, incomes and prices, the markets and product structure of external trade).
