A tanulmány a világ, az Európai Unió és Magyarország borpiacán 2010-ig várható folyamatok előrejelzésére vállalkozik. Ennek érdekében áttekinti a bortermelés és borfogyasztás, valamint a bor külkereskedelmének elmúlt 10 éves tendenciáit. Külön fejezet foglalkozik a világ jelentősebb bortermelő és borexportőr országai – köztük Magyarország – versenyképességének összehasonlításával. A világon tapasztalható borfogyasztási és -vásárlási szokások jellemzőit néhány fontosabb borimportőr ország példáján keresztül mutatjuk be. Az ágazat középtávú kilátásainak előrejelzéséhez felhasználtuk az ausztrál kutatók által készített World Wine Model eredményeit is. = The study attempts to provide a forecast of the anticipated trends on the wine markets of the European Union and Hungary until 2010. To that end, it reviews the trends of wine production, wine consumption and the wine trade during the past ten years. A separate chapter compares the competitiveness of the world’s major wine-producing and wine-exporting countries, including Hungary. The global wine consumption and purchasing patterns are illustrated through the examples of some major wine importer countries. The fi ndings of the World Wine Model, published by Australian researchers, have been used for the forecast of the medium-term trends of the industry.
