Tartalmi leírás:
The Hungarian “gyufa” word itself is based on the mirror translation of the German term “Zündholz”. At the beginning it was called “gyújtófácska” (lighter stick). In the middle of the 19th century the name had partially modified to ”gyújtó” (lighter), but shortly after this the word “gyufa” appeared and it has been in use since then.  „I am asking for permission to produce a lighter stick that makes no sound during ignition and can be produced without sulfur so it does not smell at all” – these were the words the 19-year-old student of the Polytechnic of Vienna, Mr. János Irinyi used when he wanted to patent his invention.
