The following chapter introduces four articles related to di erent factors that can help employees and guide practitioners to create an optimal working environment to achieve organisational goals. The first article’s focus is on the“o ice of the future”, it explores work environment conditions for o ice workers that can serve both the well-being and job performance of employees. The second article describes results of a collaboration between BME Hybrid O ice Research Group and Ericsson Hungary. The aim of the collaboration was to explore the workplace challenges caused by the pandemic and to develop optimal solutions. The third article proposes to create a gamification taxonomy designed to classify which specific game elements—and their combinations—most e ectively influence employee behaviour. Finally, the fourth study examines the individual-level benefits of professional failure, exploring how perceptions of negative experiences can be reframed and utilized as positive resources.
