Tartalmi leírás:
The paper aims to extend knowledge of the psychological well-being and positive psychology interventions at work. In Study 1 cross-sectional research was conducted to analyse the relationship between well-being, experienced career crisis, actual and desired career stage, and coping strategies. The study sample included 457 actively working Hungarian employees. Results show weak or moderate relations in the case of correlations. In Study 2 we analysed 441 entries on a Hungarian sample by using grounded theory method to identify challenging situations at work. Finally, as a preparation of Study 3, a positive psychology interventions-based career-well-being programme has been developed to enhance employees’ psychological well-being. These findings may help practitioners to elaborate customized programs and apply targeted interventions instead of using general solutions.
