The following articles explore various aspects of product development, employing diverse methodologies to gain a comprehensive understanding of consumers’ and users’ needs and attitudes. The first study investigates the influence of green scepticism on the purchasing behaviour of Hungarian consumers. Specifically, it examines the risks involved in the purchasing and decision-making process of green fast-moving consumer goods. Shifting focus to industrial applications, the second article evaluates the utility of eyetracking technology within assembly workspaces. Although eye-tracking is a standard technology among researchers to evaluate consumer behaviour and human-computer interaction, it is new to industrial manufacturing. The third study extends the application of eye-tracking to the usability testing of threedimensional objects. Through a series of case studies, this research highlights critical methodological challenges and o ers a specialized perspective on the evaluation of physical products.
