Several projects in the field of industrial workspaces are now aiming to improve production efficiency and quality, particularly at assembly workstations. This goal can be reached in various methods originating from many scientific fields. We used mobile eye-tracking as a viable strategy for assessing assembly workplaces in this study. Although eye-tracking is a standard technology among researchers to evaluate consumer behaviour and human-computer interaction, it is new to industrial manufacturing. We applied Tobii Glasses eye-tracking device at two different factories' accurate assembly and manufacturing workplaces, recording measurements during the workflow in real-time. Six workstations were investigated, and eight operators took part in the study. After completing the pilot study, this paper has discovered several facts about the methods used and the workplaces themselves.
