Gamification, defined as the effective integration of game elements and game mechanics into real-world productive tasks, remains a topic of pivotal importance for its positive influence on employees’ behaviour. Gamification demonstrated its potential in promoting corporate citizenship behaviour while also improving organisational engagement and satisfaction levels. As gamification is being incorporated nowadays in many fields especially education and marketing, we aim to formulate a gamification game elements taxonomy that can classify which game elements and game elements combinations have the optimal influence on employees’ behaviour. The researched taxonomy can guide practitioners to select the suitable gamification process and investment level for their organizational goals.
